In music production the producer have to know about sound waves.

This are something they should know. This is also part of a big part of Physics.

Frequency: The rate at which something occurs or is repeated over a particular period of time or in given samples

Pitch: The quality of a sound governed by the rate of vibration producing it

Medium: A radio frequency between 300 kilhertz 

Doppler Effect: An increase (or decrease) in the frequency of sound, light or other waves.he

Hertz (Hz): The SI unit of frequency, equal to one cycle per second

Resonance: The quality in a sound of being deep, full and reverberating

Vibrations: An instance of vibrating
